Congratulations to the 10 beautiful finalists of the Miss WHS 2010 competition. The winners were crowned on 17 June during a wonderful show held at WHS. Seima Nampala was crowned the winner with runners-up Marizaan Liebenberg and Janine Reinhardt. Teri Olivier was chosen as Miss Personality and Andria Louw as Miss Photogenic.

National Rugby teams
Five national school rugby teams have been chosen to represent Namibia in South Africa during June. Several of our learners were chosen for these teams
Under 18 Cravenweek (in Welkom from 27 June to 3 July) : Bertho Miller, Gerhard Lotter, Hennie vd Westhuizen (Reserve)
Under 18 Academy week (in Kwazulu-Natal from 20 to 24 June) : Sven Reimers, Attie Joubert (Reserve)

SA Sports tour
Six buses will depart at 04:00 on Sunday, 2 May 2010, to South Africa for one of the biggest WHS sports tours yet! The following teams will go on tour :
First-, Second-, Third-, u15A- and u14A rugby teams, u20-, u17-, u16A, u15A and u14A netballs teams, First- and Second boys hockey teams and First-, Second- and u16A girls hockey teams.
The program is as follows :
Sunday, 2 May : Travel to Stellenboscch
Monday, 3 May : Matches vs HS Tygerberg
Tuesday, 4 May : Matches vs Hugenote HS, Wellington
Wednesday, 5 May : Matches vs HS Stellenbosch
Thursday, 6 May : Matches vs HS DF Malan
Friday, 7 May : Travel back to Windhoek

Coca-Cola Frank Fredericks Invitational Athletics
The Coca Cola Frank Fredericks Invitational Athletics Meeting took place for the 14th consecutive year on Friday, April 9. During this event, the top eight junior athletes in the country competed against each other in selected field and track events. Our athletes again did us proud :
